Today we started with a relaxing massage in the hotel’s onsite hammam. This one was a bit different – no pillowcase of suds this time, but lots of scrub-a-dub and bowls of water being thrown around. Nice.
We also bought huge amounts of souvenirs in a little shop in central Goreme then went to lunch at a place that did the local speciality, teste kebab. This is a stew cooked in sealed terracotta pots that are cracked and broken in order to get to the food inside. Yummy, but a few terracotta shards aren’t always the best seasoning!
Tonight we went to another dancing and dinner show. Like the last one, it was a mix of traditional and modern, and then there was music so we could hit the dancefloor ourselves.
