We’re in Istanbul! Even the name conjures up exotic images. It’s amazing. It was great to see the girls – there are 10 of us on Angie’s trip and we’re going to have a ball!

We went to the Arista Markets for apple tea after supper, and wandered through the celebrating crowds. It’s still Ramadan so there’s parties all night! We’re right across from Aya Sofia and the Blue Mosque, and there was a huge concert right outside our hotel tonight!
